In celebration of The Queens Golden Jubilee, join the Team at Deans and be part of this 'Great British Event!'

With LIVE MUSIC from 'The Brookband' and our resident DJ playing the best of British Bands this event will bring our community together at this special time.
 

An exhibition of work by members of the Ely Art Society. Featuring work in various media to suit all tastes. Our members are a mix of professional and amateur artists from the local area. All work is for sale. As well as a large selection of frame works, unframed originals and a large selection of hand painted greeting cards.

The 2012 Ely Photo Exhibition and Competition will be held on Sat/Sun the 1st/2nd Sept at Ely Library.

Featuring images taken by local professional and amateur photographers. Showcasing a diverse portfolio of award winning photographs including dramatic local landscapes, vibrant natural history, gritty urban shots, eye catching architectural pieces and simply beautiful portraits.

Competition Details:

Over 300 performers are involved in this special Jubilee Concert, as five separate choirs and members of two orchestras combine to give a programme comprising:

Britten: National Anthem (arr.)
Elgar: Coronation Ode
Berlioz: Te Deum

With photographs and souvenirs from Coronations and Jubilees from Victoria to Elizabeth, come see how Ely has celebrated all things regal. Lavish parties, commemoration medals and newspaper accounts combine to give a glimpse of how Ely has joined the nation in fondly honouring our royal family.
