Sutton (Population 3580)
Sutton is a large village 5 miles west of Ely with good range of local facilities including a fire station, a branch library, several places of worship, a post office, a doctor’s surgery, a pharmacy, a variety of shops and one public house. The primary school has been extended to include additional classrooms, a community room and playing fields. Sports facilities include bowls, cricket and football. Sutton is also well placed on the road network adjacent to the Elean Business Park and has a good employment base.
The small hamlet of Sutton Gault sits on the west bank of the Ouse Washes and has a restaurant/public house on the eastern bank of the washes.
