Ely Farmers' Market
Ely Farmers' Market received independent certification from FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association in 2002. This is an independent verification scheme that ensures markets are working to the recommended criteria, for more information visit the FARMA website.
Since the Farmers' Market was first piloted in July 2000 as a monthly event it has grown in popularity and is now held fortnightly, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.
Over 25 stalls now sell a range of merchandise from the traditional to more exotic - such as ostrich meat. Producer attendance varies with the seasons, but you can be assured of variety and choice all year round.
The Farmers' Market trades from 8.00am to 2.00pm.
